JDS rules out a rotational Congress CM, hint stronger alliance for 2019 Karnataka’s ‘soon-to-be’ Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Sunday stated that there is no planning of a ‘rotational CM’ with the Congress after their poll-winning alliance recently. IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh quits, Rahul Bhatia to take interim charge President and whole time director of India’s biggest airline company IndiGo, Aditya Ghosh announced the news of his resignation from his post on Friday after 10 years of association. 57 killed as ISIS Suicide Bomber strikes at Kabul Election Centre An Islamic State suicide bomber killed at least 57 people including women and children and wounded 112 outside a voter registration centre in the Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday in the latest attack on election preparations. INDIA Madhya Pradesh proposes death penalty for rape of minor girls The Madhya Pradesh government on Sunday approved a bill to award capital punishment to those convicted of raping girls aged 12 and below. Madhya Pradesh has topped sexual offences list in the country over the last decade. Briefing journalists after the meeting, state finance minister Jayant Malaiya said the bill known as Public Safety Bill would be introduced in the assembly’s winter session. According to National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report 2016, Madhya Pradesh reported the highest number of rape cases — 4,391 — in 2015.
