Sena MP thrashes Air India official with slippers, Blacklisted  A Member of Parliament belonging to the Shiv Sena on Thursday thrashed a senior Air India official with slippers, tore his shirt and broke his spectacles following an altercation over seating arrangement. Ravindra Gaikwad who had a business class ticket insisted on taking the airline's early morning flight AI-852 from Pune to Delhi, which is an all-economy class. The argument with the airline employees over a Business class seat started in Pune after which Gaikwad assaulted the 60-year-old on-duty manager after the aircraft landed in Delhi.
