SC to hear petition against pro tem speaker at 10.30 am today The Supreme Court will hear Congress petition against the appointment of BJP legislator KG Bopaiah as the pro tem Speaker on Saturday at 10:30 am. Bopaiah will be presiding over the floor test that has been scheduled on Saturday 4 PM that will decide whether the newly appointed CM has a majority in the Vidhan Sabha or not. The Congress earlier had sought an urgent hearing against Governor Vajubhai Vala's decision. The Congress had alleged that the Governor has flouted parliamentary convention of appointing the senior most MLA as the pro tem Speaker.
