Solution for fuel prices not in our hands: Ravi Shankar Prasad With the opposition parties on Monday launching a scathing attack on the Central government over the rising fuel rates, with ‘Bharat Bandh processions across the country, the BJP called it a failure. Addressing the media over the issue, Union Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, the rise in the prices of petrol and diesel is due to global supply and only temporary in nature. "We are standing with the people in their concern, but this is a problem whose solution is not in our hands," Minister Prasad was quoted by several media agencies as saying.
