JDS rules out a rotational Congress CM, hint stronger alliance for 2019
Karnataka’s ‘soon-to-be’ Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Sunday stated that there is no planning of a ‘rotational CM’ with the Congress after their poll-winning alliance recently. While the JDS Party scion was not able to make a formal announcement on the same to media agencies, the opinion was voiced by party spokesperson Danish Ali, who also hinted at a bigger alliance between the two parties. ”The alliance of Congress & JD(S) will be really long. You’ll see the alliance grow stronger in the Lok Sabha elections too,” Ali was quoted by media agencies. Kumaraswamy who is set to swear in as Karnataka’s 24th CM on Wednesday is scheduled to meet Congress President Rahul Gandhi and veteran Sonia Gandhi for profiling of ministers.

Mumbai man becomes first to be banned under 'No-fly-list'
A Mumbai based jeweller on Sunday become one of the first people to be put on the no-fly-list by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), months after he had created an alleged hijack scare on a Delhi-Mumbai flight on October 2017. Accused Birju Salla by arrested by the Crime Branch in Ahmedabad airways after the Jet Airways flight he was travelling in had to make an emergency landing upon the pilot and the cabin crew witnessing a note in the plane’s washroom, talking about a bomb in the cargo section of the plane and words like ‘Allah is Great’ and ‘Pakistan Occupied Kashmir’ written on it. Confessing to the crime, Salla said he was hoping that his girlfriend working in the Jet Airways Delhi office would return to Mumbai after the carrier halts its operations.

Unnao rape accused BJP MLA accused of framing victims father in fake arms case
Rape accused BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh Kuldeep Sengar was booked by the CBI on charges of framing the rape victim’s father in a false case of possessing illegal arms. Sengar had been charged for 'falsely implicating the rape victim's father in an Arms Act case,’ as according to the evidence of the CBI he was in touch with two policemen and a made up complainant, when the case was registered at Makhi (Unnao) police station on April 3, 2018. All of the accused have been sent to police custody for two days. “The MLA will be quizzed about the fresh case during the two-day custody and will be brought face-to-face with the cops," a CBI official was quoted saying by news reports.___________________
