Protests at Oppo India plant after Chinese Employee 'Trashes' Indian Flag
A Chinese employee at the Noida Sector 63 in UP facility of Oppo India reportedly tore the Indian national flag and dumped it in a dustbin which has led to huge protests by other employees, residents of the area along with activists from the Vishva Hindu Parishad.
Even Oppo India employees have joined the protest against the Chinese employee who is a production manager in the facility and three of them have officially complained against him.

India assures of fair probe into attack on Nigerian nationals
India on Tuesday condemned the alleged racial attack on Nigerian students who were brutally beaten up in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh by mobs targeting African nationals who blamed them of supplying drugs following the death of a teen due to suspected overdose.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said she had spoken to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Aditya Nath Yogi, and he had assured her of a "fair and impartial investigation into this unfortunate incident".

Air India cancels Sena MP's Ticket Once Again
Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad who was widely criticised from all quarters for manhandling an Air India staffer last Thursday - had booked a ticket with Air India, but it was cancelled by the airline on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the MP had purchased an open ticket prior to the ban, which his staff had booked for Wednesday morning to travel from Mumbai to Delhi.

Star striker Lionel Messi was suspended for four games for insulting the assistant referee during Argentina’s World Cup qualifier against Chile last week, Fifa informed on Tuesday.
Messi who allegedly hurled insults at assistant referee Dewson Silva, that included comments about his mother will now miss his side’s qualifier against Bolivia to be held later on Tuesday.

Cyclone Debbie Makes Landfall, 1 dead
One person is reported to have lost his life after Cyclone Debbie smashed into northeast Australia on Tuesday, cutting power, damaging buildings and uprooting trees, with coastal residents battling lashing rain and howling winds.
The Great Barrier Reef islands popular with foreign tourists was battered by the category four storm which slammed into the coast of Queensland state with destructive wind gusts of up to 270 kph (167 miles) near its broad core.
